And an Imperial Guard Tank too along with a Strumtiger.

So pretty much Mortars are planned buuuuut I don’t think we have HEAVY MORTARS planned which now sound like an awesome idea if not for M.A.V.s than for secret weapons! Also we could theoretically use future heavy howitzers or maybe cockpits like the dart series as a base for slapping a big barrelled gun to that points 45 degrees upward.

I’d imagine them having a max range of around 250~350 with a velocity to send it about 1~2 MAV height upward so it can clear tall obsticles since we don’t have a good option currently for landing hits on higher elevations.

With 1 mav height we could land it on the elevated areas in front of each base in Giant Leap from the ground level, and with 2 mav heights we could potentially just land it on the top floor of the oil rig. Imagine the sexiness of a round or two just making it over and landing a few feet inward and doing decent splash damage to whoever is camping up there.

Mottflyer posted a neat heavy howitzer concept that we could just change the barrel and it’s location on. http://bombdogstudios.com/forums/topic/heavy-howitzer-concept/#post-132928

the allure of it for me is that constant 45 degree angle its pointed at, and how huge the barrel is

that smaller concept on the left of mott’s models looks like it be a pretty rad grenade launcher
